The Galeon 325 GTO is a 32-foot 9-inch outboard express cruiser built in Poland from 2021, powered by twin Mercury Verado 350s. Tested at 37.8 knots, it sold for about $549,000 equipped and has since been succeeded by the 335 GTO.

What the Galeon 325 GTO price bought in 2021
The Galeon 325 GTO price question has a short answer and a long one. The short one: Boating magazine tested a fully equipped 2021 boat with twin Mercury Verado 350s at $549,000, which put it squarely against Scout's 350 LXZ at $551,546 with triple 300s. The long answer is that this was Galeon's first outboard-powered boat, and the Polish builder treated it as a recruiting tool. The goal, as BoatTEST put it, was to introduce a new kind of customer to the brand before they were ready for a 44-foot flybridge.
GTO stands for Grand Touring Outboard. Galeon launched it as the smallest model of a planned outboard family that would run up to about 50 feet, and it sold in the US exclusively through MarineMax, Galeon's national dealer since 2016. Yachting reported that Galeon, designer Tony Castro and MarineMax passed something like 90 versions of the drawings back and forth before settling on the final boat. That shows in the details: this is a 32-footer laid out by people who normally draw 60-footers.
Today the 325 GTO is a used-market boat. Galeon's current range lists a new 335 GTO of the same 9.99-meter length, with a carbon fiber hardtop, so anyone shopping for a 325 is buying a three to five year old boat from a small production run.
The power-adjustable helm and that inward windshield
Testers kept coming back to the helm. The steering column adjusts electrically up and down as well as tilting, and the twin bucket seats slide and rise electrically with flip-up bolsters, so a 5-foot-2 spouse and a 6-foot-3 owner can both drive comfortably. Most boats came with twin 16-inch Raymarine Axiom displays, a Mercury VesselView screen, joystick piloting and Zipwake interceptors.
Ventilation is clever. Air conditioning vents sit in the dash, while a ram-air scoop on the front of the hardtop feeds fresh air through overhead ducts, so the skipper gets a breeze with the side panels closed. BoatTEST measured 6 feet 9 inches of headroom under the top.
Access to the bow is through a port windshield section that folds down and inward rather than swinging up and out, with a hardtop panel that slides aft for head clearance and an air dam that wind pressure holds shut underway. Forward, the beam carries far into the bow, giving a 7-foot 7-inch wide seating area that seats four adults and converts to one of the larger sunpads in the class. The windlass hides under the forward cushion.
Below decks, a cabin for a weekend rather than a week
The sliding cabin door won praise from every tester for gliding open with one finger. Below, BoatTEST measured 6 feet 3 inches of headroom, with long hull windows and inner and outer glazing to port that make the space feel larger than it is. The forward dinette lowers to a berth about 79 by 88 inches, and a 32-inch TV sits at its aft edge.
The amidships cabin under the helm is the real bed, 79 by 54 inches, but with only about 26 inches of clearance above the mattress. Galeon hinged the companionway steps so they fold up and widen the narrow 15-inch passage to the berth. The head, to starboard at the foot of the stairs, has a hull window with an opening port, a vessel sink and a handheld shower, and Boating said it feels like it belongs on a larger boat.
The honest verdict: a couple with two young kids can weekend aboard, and two couples can manage a night, but this is a dayboat with good overnight capability rather than a coastal cruiser.
Twin Verado 350 numbers from three independent tests
Three magazines ran the 325 GTO with twin Verado 350s, and their numbers agree closely. BoatTEST, with three people and 112.5 gallons aboard, hit 43.5 mph (37.8 knots) at 6,200 rpm and found best cruise at 5,500 rpm, 31.3 knots on 39.5 gph, for a range of about 160 nautical miles with a 10 percent reserve. It planed in 4.7 seconds and reached 30 mph in 14.8 seconds. Boating saw 42.8 mph at 6,250 rpm on a prototype Galeon said was heavier than production boats, and Yachting recorded 36.7 knots, noting the hull seemed happiest around 32 knots.
Handling is the strong suit. BoatTEST's captain said it tracked like it was on rails and carved turns tight enough to unsettle passengers, and Boating found no excessive bow rise across the speed range in a blustery Sarasota Bay. The hull carries 21 degrees of deadrise at the transom. Galeon told testers it planned to modify the strakes and recess the trim tabs on production boats, so later hulls may differ slightly from the prototypes.
The weak spot is the hump. Between about 3,000 and 4,000 rpm the boat goes from 9 to 13 knots while burning 14 to 22 gph, so it rewards getting on plane briskly and staying there.
Owning one, from Mercury service to MarineMax support
Running costs are those of a twin-outboard 33-footer with a generator and air conditioning. Budget roughly $22,000 to $40,000 a year for insurance, a slip or lift, two outboard services, generator service, bottom work and fuel for 75 to 100 hours. Fuel is the swing factor at about 40 gph at cruise.
The outboard choice simplifies life. Engines tilt clear of the water, the bilge stays free of gas engines, and parts and dealers for Mercury Verados are everywhere. MarineMax's network handled sales and warranty in the US, which helps owners of a low-volume European boat.
Testers asked for a few fixes worth checking on any used boat: more grab rails in the cockpit and cabin, a four-step boarding ladder to meet ABYC guidance, and recessed trim tabs. Some of those changed during production, so look at the specific hull.
Buying a used 325 GTO versus a new 335 GTO
Galeon's current site lists the 335 GTO at the same 32.78-foot length, with a 10.96-foot beam, a lightweight carbon fiber hardtop, twin 425-liter fuel tanks and a maximum of 2 x 400 hp, quoted at up to 36 knots. It keeps the port balcony, the reversible lounge and the two-sleeping-area cabin. If you want the new carbon top and a full warranty, the 335 is the boat; if you want the same concept at a large discount, a well-kept 325 is the value play.
Because volumes were small, expect a thin market. Most boats will be in Florida and the Northeast, almost all with the full option packs, and many will have seen MarineMax service history. Be patient and ready to travel.

How much does a Galeon 325 GTO cost?
Boating priced a fully equipped 2021 test boat with twin Verado 350s at $549,000, and almost every US boat left MarineMax with the Comfort and Luxury packs. Expect asking prices to track that loaded spec, so a boat without the Raymarine 16-inch screens, SureShade and genset should sit at the bottom of the range. Low engine hours and documented Mercury service matter more here than model year.

Our verdict on the Galeon 325 GTO
The Galeon 325 GTO packs a big-yacht idea, the fold-down terrace, into a 33-foot outboard cruiser that drives better than most of its peers and is finished like a much larger boat. It is not a roomy overnighter and the used market is small, but for a couple or young family who spend most days at anchor and the odd night aboard, a well-kept 325 offers Galeon design at a substantial discount to the new 335 GTO. Insist on full Mercury records and a thorough check of the terrace hydraulics.
Galeon 325 GTO questions answered
What was the Galeon 325 GTO price new?
Boating priced a fully equipped 2021 boat with twin Mercury Verado 350s at $549,000. Used examples now typically ask roughly $300,000 to $470,000 depending on year, hours and options.
