Our servers record standard technical logs (IP address, browser type, pages requested and time) to keep the site secure and working. Logs are kept for a limited period and are not used to identify you.
When you contact us
If you use the contact form we store your name, email address, the message and the page you came from, together with your IP address and browser details to protect the form against abuse. We use this only to reply to you and keep it no longer than needed for that purpose, normally up to 24 months.
Preferences stored in your browser
Some features save settings in your own browser using local storage, for example your choice of imperial or metric units, a buyer checklist you ticked, recently viewed models and names you shortlisted in the boat name generator. This information never leaves your device.
Cookies, analytics and advertising
