A bulbous bow and why it matters at 10 knots
Custom Line describes the Navetta 33 as a semi-displacement yacht whose sophisticated bulbous bow delivers best-in-class stability and seaworthiness, with a range of around 2,000 nautical miles. Yachting's launch report added that the bulb also frees up interior volume forward. The builder's spec sheet gives an overall length of 33 meters (108 feet 3 inches), a 28-meter waterline, a 7.52-meter (24-foot 8-inch) beam and a 2.18-meter (7-foot 2-inch) draft, with a light displacement of 160 tonnes and 182 tonnes at full load.
Standard power is a pair of 1,400 hp MAN V12 LE446 CR diesels on conventional shafts. Custom Line quotes 15 knots maximum, a 12-knot cruise and a 10-knot economical speed with 1,850 nautical miles of range. Yachting's figures for hull No. 1 were similar: about 15 knots top, more than 1,500 nautical miles at 12 knots and 1,900 nautical miles at 10. Owners could choose twin 1,650 hp MAN V12s or 1,622 hp Caterpillar C32s, which Custom Line said lift top speed to 15 or 16 knots; Yachting noted the first six buyers all chose the standard 1,400 hp MANs, which are rated for 3,000 hours.
Fuel capacity is 18,700 liters (4,940 US gallons) and fresh water 3,100 liters (819 gallons). Custom Line did not publish fuel burn curves, so we leave cruise consumption blank.
Five guest cabins over four levels
Custom Line's own description has the owner and guest areas spread across four decks, from a full-beam master suite forward on the main deck to four guest cabins below. Yachting's tour of Telli described the main deck as an open-plan lounge and dining area with the galley to port and a lobby and day head to starboard, and the owner's stateroom forward. Up a level, the bridge occupies the forward half of the upper deck with a captain's cabin and pantry, and the after section is a sky lounge.
Belowdecks the standard plan sleeps up to nine or ten guests in three transverse doubles and a twin with a Pullman, though owners customized freely; the 2018 Gioia listing describes four double-berth guest staterooms. Crew quarters forward take four to six crew in their own cabins with a mess. Custom Line's builder data lists six guest bathrooms and three for crew.
Interior design came from the Ferretti Group's in-house team, typically in warm walnut, oak and marble with loose furniture from Italian design houses such as Minotti and Paola Lenti on hull No. 1. The 26th hull used pale beiges and greens with Taj Mahal marble and lacquered wood, which shows how far owners could take the semi-custom brief.
The Dual Mode Transom and outdoor living
Custom Line's patented Dual Mode Transom (DMT) is the Navetta 33's party piece. The transom lifts the garage door while a platform submerges for tender launch and recovery, and the lower section serves as a lift and swim platform, turning the stern into a beach club. Zuccon's stated goal for the design was to break down barriers between inside and outside, and the boat delivers with a three-piece sliding glass door to the main-deck aft area, an upper aft deck that connects to the sky lounge and a starboard fold-out terrace off the salon.
The flybridge carries a hot tub, bar, grill and sun loungers, and the foredeck has its own lounge and dinette with an optional Bimini top. Stabilization was a priority: Custom Line specified electro-hydraulic fin stabilizers with zero-speed function and two Seakeeper gyros, and Telli carried ABT-Trac fins plus twin Seakeeper NG16 units. VOTIS software runs infotainment and an integrated bridge monitors systems.
Why so many Navetta 33s ended up in Florida
The Navetta 33 suited US owners unusually well. At 108 feet with a 24-foot-8-inch beam it carries volume that Denison Yachting compared with 120- to 130-footers, yet its 7-foot draft lets it work the Bahamas and the Florida Keys. The range covers a Fort Lauderdale to Caribbean passage with margin, and the MAN engines can be specified with EPA Tier 3 approval. Hull No. 3 went to an American owner who planned to keep the boat in Florida, the 26th hull was built for an American family, and several of the 2023 boats now listed with Allied Marine and Denison are lying in Miami and Fort Lauderdale.
The model's charter potential also helps resale: a main-deck master, five cabins, a beach-club transom and twin gyros tick the boxes US charter clients look for.
What a Navetta 33 costs to buy and keep
With the model out of production, every purchase is brokerage. Current-generation boats from 2017 onward typically ask $9 million to $15 million in 2026, with the newest 2023 deliveries at the top. Engine hours, extended MAN and Seakeeper warranties, recent haul-outs, automation upgrades and whether the boat has been privately or charter operated all move the number. A 2023 boat with about 1,600 hours on its MANs and a Savant automation upgrade was listed at $12.95 million in 2026.
Running a 33-meter yacht is a professional operation. Budget roughly $1 million to $1.7 million a year for a crew of four to six, insurance, dockage, maintenance and refit reserves, fuel and provisioning, before depreciation. Fuel burn at 10 knots on two 1,400 hp V12s is modest for the size, which is one reason Navetta owners tend to cruise more than they race.
What replaced the Custom Line Navetta 33
Custom Line premiered the Navetta 35 in 2026, a 113-foot 2-inch trideck with five staterooms, the master on the main deck and four guest cabins below, twin 1,400 hp MAN V12s or optional 1,622 hp CAT C32s and up to 1,800 nautical miles of range. Exterior styling is by Filippo Salvetti and interiors by Antonio Citterio Patricia Viel. For buyers who want the Navetta 33 formula with a warranty, it is the logical successor; for buyers who want value, a well-kept Navetta 33 remains the better deal.

How much does a Custom Line Navetta 33 cost?
Recent US listings give a clear picture: the 2018 Gioia was offered at $11.995 million in 2023, the 2023 Lumpasaurus at $12.95 million in 2026 and the 2023 Double Up at $15.995 million in late 2024. Yachting counted 13 Navetta 33s for sale in 2025 at $4.4 million to $15.99 million, but the low end of that range reflects older Navetta 33 and Navetta 33 Crescendo generations, not the 2017-on boat. Engine choice, Seakeeper and stabilizer warranties, refit history, US flag and charter readiness drive the spread.

Compare side by sideOur verdict on the Custom Line Navetta 33
The Custom Line Navetta 33 earned its place as one of the most successful 30-meter-class superyachts of its era by doing the basics very well: a stable, efficient bulbous-bow hull, 1,850 nautical miles of range, a main-deck master, five cabins and a clever Dual Mode Transom, all in a package that suits Florida and the Bahamas as well as the Mediterranean. It is slow by planing-yacht standards and now out of production, but roughly 30 current-generation hulls give buyers real choice and solid resale. For an owner who wants a proper long-range trideck without going fully custom, it remains one of the safest bets on the brokerage market.
