Italian performance motor yachts, best known in America for the 63-unit Tecnomar for Lamborghini 63.
Tecnomar is The Italian Sea Group's performance yacht brand. Its Lamborghini 63 collaboration made it famous, and limited numbers keep it a collector piece.
Tecnomar is the brand around which The Italian Sea Group was built. Giovanni Costantino formed the group in 2009 by acquiring Tecnomar, then added the Nuovi Cantieri Apuania shipyard in 2012 and later the Admiral, Perini Navi and Picchiotti brands. The group is based at Marina di Carrara on the Tuscan coast and went public in Milan in 2021.
Within the group, Tecnomar handles fast, design-led motor yachts and the Tecnomar EVO series, while Admiral builds larger custom superyachts. The group faced significant governance turmoil in 2026, including the departure of Costantino and a crisis resolution procedure, which buyers should factor into any new-build or warranty discussion.
In May 2020 Tecnomar unveiled the Tecnomar for Lamborghini 63, a collaboration with the Italian carmaker inspired by the Lamborghini Sian FKP 37 hybrid hypercar. Production was capped at 63 units, a reference to Lamborghini's founding year of 1963. The boat, which we cover in depth, uses carbon fiber extensively, twin MAN V12 engines and design cues such as hexagonal motifs and a helm inspired by a supercar cockpit.
It is a day boat and short-range cruiser, built for speed and attention rather than long-distance comfort. The single guest cabin is compact for a 20-meter (65-foot) yacht, and the real appeal is the experience at the helm and on the dock.
Because the run is limited and the design is unique, the Lamborghini 63 behaves more like a collector item than a typical used yacht, with value driven by condition, hull number and provenance.
Tecnomar has a small footprint in the US, and service typically relies on specialist dealers and MAN engine service centers in South Florida. The group's 2026 troubles add uncertainty about factory support, so independent survey and parts planning are especially important.

Yes. Tecnomar quotes 60 knots flat out and a 40-knot cruise from twin 2,000 hp MAN V12 engines, helped by extensive carbon fiber construction to save weight.
