Hunt 32 Center Console
Center Consoles & Offshore Boats, 32 ft
Used $160K to $280K
A New England semi-custom builder founded in 1998 on C. Raymond Hunt's deep-V, now Hunt Yachts by DiMillo's and focused on its 56 to 76-foot Ocean series.
Hunt Yachts was founded in 1998 around the Hunt 33 and built deep-V cruisers in New England. Hinckley's parent bought it in 2013, and DiMillo's acquired key assets in 2026.
Every Hunt traces its lineage to 1960, when C. Raymond Hunt's 31-foot Moppie won the rough Miami to Nassau race in record time, proving the high-deadrise deep-V hull. Hunt's design office, now Ray Hunt Design, has since drawn deep-V hulls for Boston Whaler, Grady-White and Grand Banks, among others. Hunt Yachts is the builder that carries the name directly, with Ray Hunt, Jr., the designer's grandson, long involved in its engineering.
Soundings records that Hunt Yachts was founded in 1998 with the Hunt 33, built in South Dartmouth, Massachusetts. After rapid growth it moved to the Melville Marine Complex in Portsmouth, Rhode Island, under president Peter Van Lancker, next door to Hinckley. In 2013 Hinckley's parent company acquired Hunt, and Global Yacht Builders in Taiwan has built the larger Ocean series since 2008. In March 2026 DiMillo's Yacht Sales of Portland, Maine, acquired key Hunt assets from Hinckley and an exclusive license from Ray Hunt Design. Hunt Yachts by DiMillo's now offers the Ocean 56, 63, 68 and 76.
Most Hunts on the brokerage market are inboard Harrier runabouts, coupes and express yachts. The Hunt 32 Center Console is the exception and the model we cover. Launched in 2015 after its announcement in late 2014, it is 32 ft 1 in long with twin Yamaha outboards from 250 to 350 hp, 235 gallons of fuel and a walk-in console containing a stand-up head with shower and a galley-ette. Tests on Narragansett Bay recorded more than 45 knots on twin 300s and a cruise near 31 knots.
Hunt now lists the 32CC among its retired Coastal models, so every one is a used purchase. It competes with the Boston Whaler 330 Outrage, Pursuit and Regulator, but with a yacht-tender level of finish.
Hunts have a devoted following in the Northeast, and the deep-V pedigree keeps resale firm. DiMillo's has service locations from Maine to Maryland, which gives owners a clearer support path after the 2026 sale. Older Rhode Island-built boats are well understood by Northeast yards.
